What Tubes are in Your Tube Amps?

Just curious about what brands, types, and exact pre tubes you use in your amps?

Bogner Ecstasy 101B. 4 JJ EL-34's. Preamp section is GT12AX7C, and FX, PI, and clean channel tubes are JJ ECC83's. 6 pre tubes total. 3 GT, 3 JJ

Matchless Chieftain 2-12 combo. 2 Svetlana =C= EL-34's. Preamp is NOS Mullard ECC83's. Reverb drivers are JJ ECC83's.

Marshall Jubilee 2550 head. 2 JJ E-34L's. 3 Sovtek 12AX7LPS.

Fender Bassman LTD. (just sold) GT 6L6 GE's, EI Gold Elite 12AX7's. I sold it with all the stock Fender tubes.

I have JJ 12ax7s in my Triaxis and JJ 6L6s in my 2:90.

I think I have Mesa branded EL34s in my 2203 and 12ax7s as well. I'll have to do something about that one day.

Marshall- Chinese 6550s, Mullard 12ax7 in V1, Sovtek 12ax7 in V2&3

Park- Blue Tesla EL-34s, Mullard 12ax7 in V1&2 and Sovtek in V3.

Falcon- RCA 6v6, don't remember what's in preamp, reverb or rectifier.

My 5150 uses the stock Peavey Tubes

However my Modified Marshall TSL 100 Head uses Svetlanas in the power section and Electro Harmonix in the Preamp Section

Laney Pro tube 50-JJ EL34's old stock 12AX7's
HRD- Old stock 6L6GC's(Phillips) old stock 12AX7 & 12AT7's
I have a pretty large collection of old stock tubes. Mostly 6L6's 12AX7,AU7 and AT7's. In or around 1988( Remember the Cold war?) I read in a guitar magazine that in 15 years there would be no more tubes.:smack: Me and a friend use to go out on garbage night looking for old electronic devices to raid the tubes from.:laugh2: In 1991 when my grandmother passed away. While clearing out her Apt. I found a large box of all preamp tubes. Mullards.RCA's Phillips and Amerex. My Grandfather worked in a electronic supply store in the 60's so I guess he alway's kept a supply on hand. And he had the foresight to know his grandson would grow up to be a tube hoar.

I actually have the original Bogner '94 pre amp tubes in there and 4 winged Svetlana EL34 power tubes. Sounds great! But You already know how that

my powerball has all stock engl tubes

'79 marshall JMP has sovtek 12AX7-LPS and Sovtek 6550WEs and i have a set of JJ E34Ls i keep meaning to put in.

peavey ultra plus has JJ ECC83-S 12AX7s and JJ 6l6GCs

66 BF Fender Pro Reverb....Black Plate RCAs and a mix of RCA,Amperex,GE,preamp tubes...

BF Bassman has NOS RCA Blackplates and NOS 12AX7's

Duncan Convertible 60 has Ruby Preamp tubes and EH 6CA7's.

Mesa 50:50 has the stock Mesa tubes for now.
