What would be a good HSH combo

I have an ESP USA Custom Shop MIII lefty with EMG's. They are too hot for my tastes and I am looking for an HSH combo with seymours. Something a little more vintage but I don't want to change the pickguard and I have an OFR in it. So I think a Trembucker would have to go in the bridge so I would probably have to put a rail HB there. Any suggestions would be great. I am a fan of the APH1.

Since you're a fan:

A2Pro bridge, A2Pro single middle, A2Pro neck!

If it were me I'd likely be going for an A2Pro bridge, SSL-1 middle, 59 neck.

I don't understand what you mean about a rail HB?

Something like an invader or something with blades. Can i put a regular spaced A2pro at bridge or does it have to be a trembucker. My current setup is EMG 81, SA, 89

Ah okay - you can put a regular spaced humbucker in there it'll work perfectly well. I have an SH-6 in a guitar with a trem - works fine. I also have an SH4 in a Jackson with Floyd Rose, works fine.

If you were looking for vintage BTW, I'd steer well clear of the Invader! Go with the A2Pros!

Re: What would be a good HSH combo

i would suggest a patb3 bridge
cool rails in the middle
aph neck

great tones and all humcancelling

Re: What would be a good HSH combo

if you want the warmth lost by the floyd back, go with benji's reccomendation for the all-patb set. if you want something really smooth, go with the all a2p set!

edit: or what jeremy said. he posted right when i posted:D
