What years were the SH-4 JB labeled "JBJ"?

I know it was before 2002 but they have the label listing as "JB" not "JBJ".
I had this pickup in a modified Strat for a very long time but I can't remember for the life of me when I got it.
Also when were the SH-4's first introduced?

The last lettter is the initial of the person who wound it, in this case Maricela Juarez now of the Duncan Custom Shop.

I think the first production JBs (with a "JB{Winders Initial}" label like yours) came out in ´78 or ´79, but I´m not entirely sure on that one.... There are a few from before that time that say "JB model", those would be the actual "first" production units, IIRC there´s a post around here somewhere from a few years back when somebody somehow managed to score a pair........ I think it was actually JBFromHell´s thread, fittingly enough...

Mystery solved! This is one I am thinking of selling, it has been years since I had it in a guitar and I remember it being a little muddy for my liking.

Side note: MJ is definitely the most renowned when it comes to pickup winders in SD, because of this some of her known winds can fetch a few more dollars than a non labelled one. However I am talking about a 10-20 dollar increase here (basically just a reason to keep the price firm vs taking a lower offer), not a 50-75 like someone tried to pull on me once...I could have almost gotten her to wind me a new pickup to my spec for what he tried to charge me.
