An idea that I came up with and have been thinking about, hope you can help.
If I had a low wattage tube amp combo (I don't have, but if
)lets say around 5watt. And I'd want to ocasionally use it on rehearsals and gigs. If I bought a small power amp and mounted it inside the combo cabinet, so I would have everything in one package. Could this work?
5w Tube amp

20-40w Power Amp

12" 25w Speaker
If I had a power amp rated 40w I'd have to be careful not to blow the 25w speaker, right?
Would this suck tone in anyway? Of course the quality of the power amp would affect that, but in any other way?
Do you have any recommendations on a small-sized low wattage power amps?
