what's a good alternative to a 59 or Jazz with a 59/Custom Hybrid?

I like the sound of the Hybrid on computer speakers but haven't heard one in the flesh. I've had 59 necks and they're Ok but would like something with a bit more attitude, without losing clarity.

A 59N with a make swap.
My favorite is the UOA5 , gives the 59N proper mids and sounds more vintage correct .

WLH sounds about right. Bit more 'tude and clarity than the 59 thanks to the mid bump.
