What's a good amp switching pedal?

I feel like this could be the simplest pedal on Earth that you could easily DIY.

But then I see that some are powered and some are not. What's the difference? Any recommendations? Thanks!

i have a radial twin cities which is very similar to that but active and has a control to adjust the impedance so the guitar sees what it wants. if you are just switching between amp a and amp b, you dont need anything fancy

it is. you can make sure your guitar sees 1M regardless of being split to two amps. the radial switchbone v2 is bad ass and ive thought about getting one a few times

I have two and do not need either now that I bought my EB stereo VOL. I could definitely part with one pretty cheap.

I've been looking at the MXR. It's got some real mixed reviews. Some folks say it's way too noisy.

I'm hoping to have a switch that lets me go from the amp head into my normal cab, into the Leslie cab I just picked up or both. But I'm wondering if splitting the signal would even work in that scenario?

I would think the Morley would be better for that seeing it has the A/B function. TBH I haven't even used the MXR yet right after I got it I bought the Ernie Ball. I did record my last album with the Morley and it was dead silent. The only downside of the Morley is it is battery only so if you leave the input plugged in it kills the battery. It still works perfectly but the LED will not light up.

dont use any of these pedals mentioned previously. i dont know of a pedal that will do what you want. theres some impedance matching that would be an issue as well

i was more talking about running both amps at once, but thats a good point as well. if one cab is 8ohms and one is 4ohms, thats another issue
