What's the difference?!?

Okay, peeps. I'm upgrading my bass here, looking at passives... Tell me why I should have to shell out the extra 60 bucks to pay for the Antiquity I & II series pickups as opposed to the Basslines Vintage or Vintage Hot? Or QP for that matter... Has anyone used any or these pups? I'm having trouble making a decision here...

The sound I'm looking for is deep, warm, with lots of high-end sparkle (sparkle is the keyword) for my slapping and pick work. Output isn't really an issue, since my amp tends to break up REALLY easily.

the antiquitys just have a certain extra sweetness compared to the normal line. is it worth the $60? thats up to you. i know i love them in my strats. sounds like you want the vintage if you are going for the normal line, its got the clearest high end

The Antiquitys are worth it. $60 extra is a small price to pay for real magic and the satisfaction and inspiration you'll get in return.

Well, Lew, I checked out your website. Looks impressive! But let's say I'm going to shoot for the realm of Antiquity: should I stick with the Duncans, or should I go for something like a Fralin? How do those two lines compare to each other?

Is there anyplace on the web that anyone knows of where I can hear some side-by-side audio samples of BASS pickups? I find guitar-based pages all over the damn place, but nothing so far on bass.
