Whats the exact difference between Duncan & Dimarzio wiring?!

i'm about to install some pups but ones a duncan and ones a dimarzio, so what is the difference in the wiring, as ive heard it caused a problem for some people?

atta boy. as long as hot goes to the middle prong on your volume pot, and you ground it properly, i don't think it matters which companies pickups you use. Unless you want to coil plit of course, then some explaining needs to be done

Thanks Flip! Do you mean hot to the pickup selector??? I thought bare and green just get earthed on the back of pots...

The green/bare thing is correct for SD pickups but the color codes are different for SD and DMZ.
