When did Duncan start putting logos on pups?

Anyone have any idea? I have an old JB with the Duncan logo on the front and a JBJ sticker on the back. It appears to be pretty old, came out of a used guitar I bought.

i have one of those also (logo on top JBJ on bottom) and mine was said to be from the early 80s.

So it was in the 80s, I thought it was a relatively new thing

Hmmm unless the Seymour Duncan OEM pickups on Hamer and Kramer guitars in the 80's were ordered without logo's, I'd say they didn't start the silk screening logo process till 1992 or later.

My most recent pup without a logo is a zebra DD purchased in 1986. It was ordered from SD. That DD was a replacement for a black JB I purchased in 1985 that was very similar to the one you describe. My JB was logo-less also. Although, I can't remember if the JB was sitting in my dealer's stock or had to be ordered from SD. I didn't buy any more pups until ~1996 and they had logos.
