When did SD discontinue Parchment humbuckers?

I did a humbucker swap on my 2001 Fender Big Apple strat from the Pearly Gates + (which i do like) to a 59/custom hybrid. The Hybrid is white, but i didnt realize that the Pearly Gates+ and 59RWRP were in parchment.... Kind of looks odd.

Yes, they were OEMs for Fender. It was for the Big Apple Strat and the PG also for the Lone Star Strat. I have also seen Fender Aftermarket sets, but i remember them only in Black.
For the OP question: Both guitars were discontinued in 2000, so probably the Aftermarket sets too.

i remember parchment being an option for at least some buckers, but that option seems gone now. curious...

That's too bad because i always was impressed with their color. I remember good ole Lonestar Strats. They looked so beautiful to me in those days with parchment Duncans on

i feel the same. sometimes parchment suits a guitar better, but i still like cream for some things

Cream only looks good on a Super Distortion shoved into the bridge of a Les Paul without regard to any of the other colors present on the instrument

For me, as long as it matches the other plastics on the guitar, fine. Doesn't have to be creme, needs to be whatever matches, so it looks like it aged together.
