When did the El Diablo become a production pickup?

Sorry if I'm late to the party, but when did this go production. I just noticed it on the webpage. (Or, I don't remember seeing it before.) Nice to see it at a little more affordable price.

I didn't know it was now a standard model either. The Slug is there, too.
SD ought to rename the Silverbird and issue it as the Diablo neck...

Or put a standard baseplate on the RIC bass pup, and call it the Diablo neck. That's what I did . . . sounds great. The Diablo and RIC bass dimensions are identical.

I know they have been slowly making their way through the 'standard' popular CS pickups and moving them to the production line. I think this is a good move.
