I did a google search for StraBro 90 or "forum pickup 2008 p-90 strat" and the earliest thread that shows up is this single post https://forum.seymourduncan.com/showthread.php?151550-SDUGF-pickup-08 discussing purchase options for the StraBro 90, but no threads appear to exist discussing its design. Were they deleted?

Well, IIRC, the StraBro 90 and the Phat Staple were special offers to the people of the SDUGF, intended mostly as "clearance sale" and not as designs made by or for them.

I stand corrected about the StraBro90.
They weren't as many participants, voters nor viewers like with the Fugly or the "Hy-Bro".
Does somebody know if the "necessary" 100 orders per p'up were actually achieved with the StraBro90?

You were partially correct actually. Somewhere in that process, the pickup was almost cancelled. Someone came in and said something to effect of "why don't we just ask for a strat size, true single that can sound like a p90 and let the Custom Shop take it from there." There may have been more to the statement, i cannot recall, but that was all it took to save the day.
