Where Do You Put The Pick Holder On Your Fender?

I was thinking the back of the headstock or that little flat part on the back of the neck near where heel meets the body.

What do you guys think?

Or a pocket picker.

Seems like it would get in the way on the back of the neck unless you never go near the 12th fret.

I used to just roll some blue tape and put it on the back of the headstock and stick a line of them there, never used a pick holder. Now days I have a music stand so I just keep a few of them there, not that I drop many anyway anymore, not really sweating or jumping around.

I never attach them to the guitar.

My left pants pocket is my pick holder normally. If I am playing at a gig, it's my back right pocket (because my wallet is always in my front right pocket).

That said, I've dropped a pick at a gig only about three or four times in my life. Not too bad.

I usually just put it down somewhere, then the pick Gremlin shows up and takes the dam thing making me think that my CMS (which is a close cousin of CRS) has kicked in again.
If I don’t what the little Dip**** to show up I weave it into the strings somewhere around the third fret.

I sticked a pickup holder only once... in the 80s.

I'll either put some on a mic stand pic holder or a few on the top of my amp. There's a crease area on top I can stick them in. Last few gigs I put a couple in the coin pocket on my jeans.

The mic stand holder works great. As does the top of the amp.
I’m usually within a couple steps of my amp at any given point.

When I'm not playing, my pics are always in between the top 3 strings, near the headstock (over high E, under B, over G). They stay firmly there.

At home I just make sure that I’ve got dozens of them laying around all the time & as far as playing out, mic stand....

I have one of those mic stand holders, but I never use it. Keep extras in my pocket. But I haven’t dropped one yet.

I use a shelf tag holder (used in most retail stores) cut in half and then clipped to my guitar straps… Like this:

For performances I always make sure there’s another one in my pocket, just in case.

No way in HELL would I stick one of those ugly pick holder things to one of my guitars!
