Where to find Tele saddle springs? Other issues!

Guys, I was installing a Dimarzio Chopper in my 2012 Tele bridge today and lost two saddle springs! Any place to buy these in a hurry! I need this guitar for Thursday.

Guys, I also have a heck of a time exposing the bare wire because they are so thin. I tried using my teeth but I end up just breaking the wire. My wire stripper does not work because I have nothing for thin wire. :(
Any ideas? :(

I'd have thought any guitar shop with any sort of repair capability should have a few laying around in a parts bin somewhere. Make a few phone calls near where you are tomorrow morning, I'm sure someone can help out.

You can get them many places. Until you do, you can play the guitar without them, so don't panic about Thursday.

I can not strip the small wires to install the pickup. Any thoughts? I tried burning off the coating and using my teeth. I am almost out of wire because each technique results in broken wire. :(
I may take a ride to home depot.

I can most likely send my new pickups back to Duncan and Dimarzio and have them strip the wire so that they can be soldered.

Are you talking about stripping the insulation? If your wire stripper is acting up, use an X-Acto knife.

Yes, so I went to Home Depot. They had a small 5" wire stripper and it worked! Yes!

I also found the springs, they were stuck to the Lil' 59. LOL!

For the springs.. Well I agree that any good repair center should have them. If they don't try disassembling a click pen & use the spring that pulls the ink refill in & out. Trim it to the length you need and make it work...

As far as the wire, I use a single edge razor and just trim the casing. It can still be difficult, so try just using your fingernail to slide the casing back..
