which bridge pup will i like better?

getting close to replacing the gold lace sensors on my 50th anniv. Strat Plus (alder body, maple neck & board). pretty sure I'm going for surfers in the neck & mid. i always take Lew's advice seriously & he's been kind enough to recommend an 11024-01 ant. I custom bridge. i'm also considering the texas hot (and i'm not locked into just these two). anyone else have ideas about these possible matchups? (a clip or two would be fantastic.) i mostly play classic rock & blues; really want stellar cleans and the ability to push it hard now & then.

are you looking for a traditional single coil sound, or more of a humbucker sound?

just kidding.

if it was me i would go surfer, surfer, ant 1 custom bridge. i think youll like the extra mids and smoother top end in that position. if you want the volume lower to get a nicer clean tone you can back it further away from the strings. i spent my gig last night listining to strat bridge pups more than anything else and the antiquity 1 custom was really sounding great

single coils all around, but some "humbuckeresque" character in the bridge. Thnx.
