Which color Peavey?

Edit: I don't mind if you keep voting . . . but I bought the black one.

I'm going to order one tomorrow. I'm leaning towards the black, but the sunburst looks cool too.

What do you think?

Go sunburst. I'm not a huge fan of black guitars, so my opinion is slightly skewed. That said, I'm not a huge fan of sunburst's, although they are growing on me!

is that the model with the piezo?

i know there is a piezo model one in that range.. it got very high ratings.

i'd say sunburst, because black guitars get manky fast. you can see all the fingerprints really easy and the thing never looks clean

Oddly enough, it was the one in with the piezo bridge that I tried out. (Thats why I have to order the non-piezo one.) The thing is, the piezo one has a completely different control layout. Its rear-routed with the controls and switches layed out somewhat haphazardly. I didn't like it. I specifically want the Tele-style control layout so that I can make my own control panel without altering the original.

I've got several ideas for control variations in my "notebook", that need this type of guitar.

Its cool and all, but I don't really want to pay for the ACM, and I want to do the Cool Rails/Vintage Rails gig in this one.

Yeah . . . its a quilted maple top, and it does look gorgeous, but its several hundred dollars more. :yell:

If it were me, I'd hold off on this purchase and wait till the USA Custom Genny's start rolling out. Sweet 3 P90 model in custom colors. Peavey showed these at NAMM over the weekend, and I've already got my Genny savings started. NICE guitar!

Well, Sunburst is definitely winning in the comments, even if by only one vote in the actuall poll. I'm placing the order this afternoon, so, perhaps Sunburst it is.

BTW - I hope some voters aren't mistaking "Yeuch" for the English slang term "yuck".
"Yeuch" is a Yiddish word that roughly translates to: "to acquire".

Thanks for that "heads up". It sounds cool, but I've already got plans for this one as a platform to try out some "rails" p'ups.

Between those 2 I go black and swap out the guard for a MOTO pearl or something to jazz it up a bit.

It looks close other than the middle pup, maybe a Nashville style guard would fit?

Can't tell for sure though, screws could be off a hair and you could never tell from that pic. Call Peavey Customer Service or shoot them an email, they're excellent. You might even check on their forum.
