hmm. Tough call. Ive had both and thought they both sounded great. I think its really looks here. Id say the ML probably has a bigger tone and possbly sustain due to its mass. Although the ML I had was amazingly light for its size.

I'd actually like a Dean Z. The newish straight six model looks sweet.

One thing I dont care for with the looks of Dean Vs is the big V headstock is almost as big as the body. they need a smaller hs for the v. Imo

I tuned up an inexpensive Korean made Dean V that was killer. It was lightweight, had a super sweet tone and played itself.
I wouldn't mind owning it even though Dean isn't really my cup of tea. The headstock... yeah it's huge and split, so what. If it sounds good it is good.
