Which Duncan pup to get close to this sound?

I'm looking for a bridge hbucker to go into an Artcore AS73 (335 copy). I'm hoping to nail :-

a) Cream: I Feel Free, the part where Clapton switches to the bridge after the woman tone solo. Presumably that's a A2 bridge PAF sound?

b) Your standard Billy Gibbons, Darkness, Guns n Roses, Led Zep rhythm crunch sound. A5?

I'm probably contradicting myself. Hope you guys can help me out. Thanks.

be careful with that comparison ..
an es-335 does not sound like your artcore.
i like the ibanez guitars a lot and they do great jazzguitars for
a killer price, but i found them to sound very different to the gibby
or any epi copy.
just to clarify; i don't want to throw **** on your artcore, i'd like to
have one on my own. Just wanna prevent eventually wrong recommendings.
all the best for the search of the sound you desire

Get a '59 many people say it nails cream. As for your second group of tones most of those guys used an A2 pup, gibbons uses whatever, and the Darkness a custom 5 or or stock gibson. a 59 OR A CUSTOM IS MY ADVISE

A set of 59s would probably cover the MOST bases. However Gibbons uses PGs in non-vintage humbucker guitars, and Slash uses Alnico 2 Pros in everything except his vintage Gibsons.

For Cream it would just depend on the album and timeframe. The LP tone I would say someting like a Seth, for the SG and 335 tone I would say 59.
