Which first-chorus/distortion

I've got an amp with no effects loop.

Which one would the guitar go into first? Chorus or the distorton? And why? I'm thinking chorus first?

Most people tend to put modulation and time-based effects (like chorus) after distortion, but there are no rules. Try it both ways and see which you like best.

Maybe try putting them between the amp and the speaker. That should fry them right up.

I run all modulation pedals after distortions

I like to run the wah, then the OD's from highest gain to lowest gain, then the modulation FX....even better if the last one in the chain is stereo, so you can run out to 2 amps.

It's partially unimportant to me, because I rarely use OD gain when using modulation FX....except maybe delay. I like that stuff for clean tones mostly anyway.

well distorted modulation effects sounds horrible for my ears.I allways use them after the distortion.

In that case, definitely put the chorus after the distortion.
