Which guitar do you down tune?

All of my guitars are in E or Eb. I have no problems going back & forth with Gibson styles. They all have 10's on them.

I used to have a dedicated Moteley Crue Warlock tuned to D with 11's

I do have a Hello Kitty Strat that has D'Addario Thick & Thin to do D or Drop D with.

I am in e standard most of the time. If I tune lower I go a whole step down on all strings at most. I am not a fan of dropping the low string and having the other 5 a different pitch and play bar chords. If I wanted to play bass I would buy one.

You can play bar/ power chords (1-5) with only the index if you are in drop D. I learned it first from Kim Thayil of Soundgarden...lol. It's dumb but fun and very efficient.

I keep a MIJ Fernandez tele one step down. It's strung with 10's, has a big, maple neck, a 5 hole pickguard, a steel, 3 saddle ashtray bridge, a STL-2T/SM-1b (neck) combo, Kluson style gotoh tuners, and it sounds amazing. Definitely fatter than a normal tele.
