I have a Tele thinline that has become my favorite guitar as far as playability goes but I would like to get more of a PAF/T-Top sound out of it. Any suggestions ??

I have a Squier Pro Tone Fat Tele that I put a Seth Lover in the neck position.

It gives me exactly what you mentioned wanting.

I have a Little 59 for Tele bridge and I love it, but that's because it doesn't sound anything like a tele bridge.

In answer to the thread title question, I say the Fender Wide Range humbucker.

I would like to get more of a PAF/T-Top sound

In answer to this, I say get more of a Gibson ES-335.

I don't know of any large production model pickup that gets close to a Ttop sound... there are boutique makers out there who say they can get you that.... I got an early 70s SG with Ttops, I am yet to play another guitar that has anything like this sound, especially in the bridge. Its very chewy, but not overly harmonic.

Didn't the Tele Thinline come stock with Wide Range humbuckers?

"72" style did, "69" style did not. If we are talking about a 72 style, then Seths would be a great way to get there. If we're talking about a 69, then you are never going to get there.

Maybe I misunderstood. Are we looking for specifically Tele pickups? Like was asked about? Or are regular humbuckers fair game?
