Which is brighter? SH-2n Jazz neck or SH-10n Full Shred neck?

Which is brighter? SH-2n Jazz neck or SH-10n Full Shred neck? I want the brighter of those 2 pickups. I have an Ibanez AS73, which is an inexpensive but very cool ES-335 style guitar, except for the pickups...they really suck. I don't want to yank the covers, I want to yank the pickups...I want them gone. LOL I wrote about this guitar before but I'm intrigued by the Full Shred neck model.
I remember loving it but that was a long time ago. It has a beautiful throaty quality to the tone. I still love the Jazz neck model too.

According to the Seymour Duncan product description:
”The (Full Shred) neck model is the most articulate, bright-sounding neck-position humbucker that we make—great for adding clarity to any guitar.”
Have you tried the Compare Products tool on the website?

Full Shred - no question.

I will mention this, though. A pickup isn't going to add highs that aren't there in the first place. If there are none, or they are crappy shrill piercing highs, you'll get a louder bad sound. Since you seem to have loved this guitar, go for it. YMMV - just setting one expectations.

FWIW, clipping the screw poles of a SH2 would make it closer to a Full Shred.

And to reply about the guitar: to me, an AS73 is a good instrument for the price. Better than an Epi Dot IME. So it makes sense to change pickups in this model, even if it's not easy...

as others have said, full shred is brighter.

its always good to have an eq on hand, but not sure spending $150 on an eq as well as a new pup makes much sense, when you can just get the pup

Yeah, it's a really good guitar. Build quality is excellent. Fun to play. Very loud acoustically, too! Next step is to make it sound good when it's plugged in. LOL

I have one of these!

I dropped tonerider rebel 90s in it. It sounds better.

I'm a dimarzio guy, but I think a set of 59s would sound great in here.

if I wanted high output, I go withva custom 5/FS neck combo. I have a set of full shreds I can get back to try out. I think they both would work pretty well, actually.

I adjust the amps bass to get a full sound from the bridge pickup, which makes the neck a bit bassier, but the brightness gives it a great scoopy 59 like sound.

they're my favorite Duncan's by far
