Which Neck Pickup to Match Retribution 8-String Bridge?

I'm looking for advice on which neck pickup to match with a Retribution 8-String Bridge. The 1st gen Blackout just doesn't seem to have the gain I want when I switch to it for leads but it seems to be the only 8 string neck pickup Duncan currently makes (except for Custom Shop?). Anyone tried another Retribution (or another Blackout-series bridge pickup) in the neck position? It would be easy for me to try that by swapping my current Retribution back and forth, but since I'd have a long pause between A/B trials that would limit the value of that I'm asking for other opinions first... Thanks!
