Which octave pedal?

hi - i'm thinking of getting an octave pedal - i havnt tried any out yet but im assuming that the boss oc-3 is the best...any of you guys got one of those or a cheaper one that you'd recommend?

My fave Boss 8ve pedal, and the one I use is the PS-5, which is an 'intelligent' pitch shifting pedal ... does pitch shifting (up and down), harmonization (up and down) and octaving (up and down), as well as my favourite effect, de-tuning: perfect for thickening up your guitar sound!!
