Which ones?

I plan on trying to get a new set of pick ups for my ibanez art100, mahogany body, rosewood fingerboard, passive

This guitar is in standard and I drop it to d standard or e flat and I play mainly hard rock/ heavy metal and hardcore and I basically came to the conclusion of these pick ups

Duncan distortion or dimebucker in the bridge and either another distortion or jazz in the neck

Lace finger burners

Dimarzio d activator x bridge and I'm not sure which one for neck

I would look into bare knuckles but there to pricy for me

Any suggestions or which ones do you guys think would work?

Also while I'm here any locking tuner suggestion? I'm thinking a hipshot or schaller

Re: Which ones?

You just asked the wrong person lol, I'm one of those people who has a certain sound in his head but can describe it. I'll try tho.

The bridge pick up isn't beefy enough for my taste and obviously the new one needs to distort well and palm mute well

And for the neck idk what it is I just don't like that one, but I haven't used it much, for cleans I'm typically in the center position so I want one that compliments the bridge well

And for amp I have a blackstar id core the 100 dollar one, and yes I know people will probably say save up for a quality amp, but I'm one of those people who wants to get the guitar where he wants it before the amp, so I plan on upgrading this guitar, than take it to guitar shops to test out with (I have played it through some Marshall's tho so it's not like I'm basing all of this off of this one amp)

Sorry if none of this made sense

Re: Which ones?

TB-6 Distortion / SH-2n Jazz

or

TB-5 Custom / SH-2n Jazz

or

Black Winter set (With TB-Spaced bridge.)

Which ones?

Nazgul / Sentient
Distortion / Jazz
Black Winter set.

The nazgul / sentient combo is great for thrashy, chuggy metal With good cleans and leads from the neck(the middle position produces beautiful cleans) I have the set in my arz307. I guess it is kinda like a Seven string version of the art100 - I also use an inexpensive modeling amp - peavey vypyr

Re: Which ones?

Alright cool thanks guys. I'll check the black winters and nazgul/sentient, haven't looked to much in to those

Out of all those pick ups which ones would you say are the most versatile? Like on this guitar I play seether's softer songs (like fine again) to megadeth (symphony of destruction) to everytime I die (I suck blood)
