Which pickups for Suhr Modern?

Hi, I got a Suhr Modern Koa/Pau Ferro, but don't like Aldrich Humbuckers. Which Duncan's could give it more versatility? I prefer SSV from Suhr, to give you an idea .Could it be a '78 in the bridge and Alnico II Pro in the neck? Thanks for your input!

what is it that you don't like about the Aldrich model? for example, I found them to be too thick for my preference.

but if you like the SSV, stick with them. it's my opinion that Suhr can be a little uppity, but they make good stuff. maybe consider the SSV+ or the SSH.

I will say, that the Alnico II Pro & 78 combo is a great one. It is versatile in the 'classic rock' sense, but doesn't quite get more modern, tighter humbucker tones, if that is what you are after.

Ok, thanks, and what would you recommend for a more modern, yet versatile sound? Could Pegasus/Sentient set deliver that kind of sound without being muddy?

I can't help you with pickups, I haven't used Suhrs, but whatever you choose, post some pics of that Koa Modern!!!!
