which pu for my rg321

hey guys,
i have a serious question for u all. i am new to duncan pickups and am not sure what to get. i have an ibanez rg321 with a fixed bridge. it has a mahogany body and the stock pu's suck. i am looking for a new bridge pu for it and would like some suggestions. i am a rythym player and like everything from old school metal to nu-metal to super heavy stuff. i am looking for a pu that would be suited for all types of rock and metal but not be too bass heavy (i like fat tight bass but not so in ur face that it gets muddy) or too trebley. i prefer passive pu's. was thinking of a jb or screamin demon, or maybe a dimebucker. any syuggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The JB will work great. The Distortion will be great as well. IT is pretty mush a JB with a Cermamic Mag. Both will sound great in Mahogany.

What kind of amp do you have?

Re: which pu for my rg321

I've got a CustomCustom in my RG321, Sounds really thick. Not too much bass, but lots of low mids...Lots of mids in general. I use alot of mids for metal and this pickup is near perfect for this sound. Thick, smooth, and screams.

I think a JB would also work well, but haven't tried it yet.

Also, Get the Trembucker version of whatever you decide on. It lines up perfectly.
