Which P'ups for Gibson Les Paul Standard T

I have been looking at upgrading all of the electronics in my LP Standard T because I can't stand the PCB board setups Gibson has been using for the last few years. I know that I want PAF style humbuckers and that I want Jimmy Page Wiring like I have in my 70's Crestline LP (which is loaded with SD Whole Lotta Humbuckers), so they've gotta have 4 conductor wires.

Currently I'm looking at the Lollar Imperials, SD Antiquity, SD Pearly Gates, and Fralin Pure PAF.

I want this guitar to be set up for mostly classic rock and blues, however I also want it to have the capability to get a little more dirty for metal stuff. Opinions?

Well, Antiquites are beautiful, open, touch-sensitive pickups, but you would have to order them with 4 conductors. The Pearlies have an open sound, too, but with extended highs (it comes 4 conductor stock). You have to pick the EQ you want to go with, or that your guitar needs.

Iirc, the Antiquities are not wax potted either...correct?
I’m which case, that might prove to be an issue with the high gain stuff.

I have a '59 in the neck of my LP Standard with a '59/Custom Hybrid in the bridge with Jimmy Page wiring. In terms of output, I'd say the Hybrid has a little bit more than the WLH but not a whole bunch. It's a brighter, more cutting tone whereas the WLH seems to be thicker in the low mids. I like that I can split the Hybrid to either the '59 or Custom coil; the latter is far more usable on its own due to the extra output. I also really like the clean tones with both pickups split in series.

If you're open to alternate wiring diagrams, I used this one with 50s style tone controls and independent volumes:

Antiquities are not wax potted, but if you wanted to order them that way, you could. A Jazz and 59/Custom Hybrid is another great choice.

For the 70ies JP sound i like two lower wound pickups. JP had a PAF in neck and a TTop in Bridge. You use a SD Jazz set for that. If you put the Bridge pickup in the neck and the neck pickup in the bridge, you are really there.
