I'm building a guitar strat shaped tobacco stain colour finish, mahogany body, mahogany neck, sculpted heel bolt on neck, maple binding, rosewood fretboard, sperzal trim locks, gotoh tune o' matic (recessed) 1 volume and 1 humbucker in the bridge, question is what humbucker I have looked at other companies but I wanna know what Seymour Duncan pickups would be suitable. I play Mainly metal, Hard rock, Blues even some country so it has to be versatile but also have the gain when needed, I would like it to be in cream as well but it's not essential. So what Pickup?
Thanks (by the way I'm new to the forum so be nice if I reply to a completely different thread or something haha!:1:

Re: Which PUPS?!

I think there is an excellent solution to your confusion: try the Parallel Axis Trembucker PATB-1 (link: http://www.seymourduncan.com/products/electric/humbucker/high-output/patb1_parallel/ ) Works well for all the genres that you play, and is very versatile. The only problem is that it doesn't come in cream, but I don't think that's too important. It also works great for rosewood fretboards and as far as I know, it is the best possible pickup to fit your scenario. Hope that helped! :1:

Re: Which PUPS?!

The Custom 5 would be an excellent choice. VERY versatile, can cover just about any genre of music and do it well. The Custom with an A8 magnet would even be better.
