bridge pickup is a '59 guitar has a 3-way switch. i want to put a quarter pound in the neck. put a regular one or a reverse wound one?. i dont want the thin out of phase sound with both pickups on

welcome to the forum! typically a normal, non-rw/rp, pup will be in phase with a normal duncan bucker. strat qp i assume?

^^^ What Jeremy said. But this assumes you're splitting the 59 to the stud coil in the middle switch position. If you aren't, it becomes less critical.

I wasn't very clear there. If you split the 59 to the stud coil, you want to pair it with the non-RWRP. If you split the 59 to the screw coil, you'd want to pair it with the RWRP. So, if you don't split the 59, it's not really important which you use.

Make sense?
