Which Tele do you think is better looking

Well besides my already mentioned SG project, I want to start to a new project guitar and Im thinking of going for a tele.

I'd like to go for a traditional tele setup in terms of pickups etc, no neck buckers or p90's or bigsby etc. Standard tele pups, 3 saddle bridge, etc etc

question though is what type of neck and finish ????

classic maple neck/butterscotch with black guard OR an equally beautiful 2tone burst with rosewood neck and mint guard ?

heres an example of both, which do you prefer and why ?

Both, because it wouldnt be right to have one and not the other. I have 2 teles, a custom(squier jb/ jazz) and standard partscaster(lil59/aph2neck covered)and another mahogany deluxe on the way.

i have a thing for sunburst Custom Tele's with the binding... i'm not sure if that one has binding or if it's just the worn edges but the sunburst one has my pick even if i prefer maple boards on a tele

I own a 3-tone sunburst Tele but I've always GAS'd for a Honey Blonde w/ black guard. If I were to build a project Tele, like Leo, that's the finish I would choose!!

...Ash body too!

BOTH !!!

They are both beautifull.

But if i had to choose only one, i had to go with the bottom one, as i like that colour better on a Tele . . . but like i said, it is a tough one !

Can't go wrong with either but I've always been fond of blonds.............:)

Both look awesome, but if I had to choose, I would say the second one. I also prefer the look of brand new shiny guitars.

thats a tough choice, they are both sweet. i think i'd take the burst with the rosewood board...

the neck from the one on the right with the body on the one on the left, and it would be amazing.

Sunburst Custom.

When I was a kid, there was a sunburst Custom reissue at the local store. I really wanted that guitar.

Besides, it's on the cover of one of the greatest rock records of all time:

I'm a fan of maple neck/butterscotche blonde- ala Keith Richards and Bruce Springsteen

Supposedly, blondes have more fun -- I go with number 2
