Which wiring diagram do I use

Ok, so I'm getting a new pickup. I looked at the SD Wiring Diagrams to do some home work and I'm not sure which one I need. I have a Fender American Deluxe HSS Strat. It has Hum-Sing-Sing 1 Vol and 2 tone with 5 Way swith. But on the diagrams listed after the 5 Way I have these options (5 Way, Auto split) (5 Way, Split) (5 Way, Push Pull) and just (5 way). What's the difference and which should I use? Thanks in advance.

Thank you. Why is the little red and grey wires left to just hang? Do I not need to connect them somewhere to get my Bridge/Middle combo. Sorry if that's a dumb question. Though I've worked on a few different types of electronics this will be my first guitar. What do those wires do if I'm don't using them? Thank you in advance.

I personally like the 5-way Auto-Split method...that splits the bridge bucker in position 2 and mixes it with the middle pickup for a more tradition strat sound....

Does auto split refer to the type switch that allows the mixing of Bridge/Middle in Pos 2 and Middle/Neck in Pos 4?
