That's funny that yal recognized the Judas Priest riff. That came out of nowhere for myself. For some reason when I hit that A and held it, the song popped in my head. I don't even know if I played it right.

KK used what appeared to be a stock Strat in some of those early live Priest vids

yep that white vintage strat! it is my understanding that KK used all stock gibson pu's in his V's(T-top's more than likely)and duncans in his strats back then. he was NEVER a Dimarzio guy:dance:

I put them in an Epi dot on the recommendation of blueman & others, turned the guitar into one I truly enjoy instead of one I was going to give to Goodwill.

Glad I could help out. I just did the same thing a Dot. Natural finish with a thick 1950's mahogany (not maple) neck. Catches that vintage feel and sound.
