I've got a MV amp, Blues Junior. I keep the volume at about 6 for just breaking up tone, 9 for rock, 12 for more rock, and 5< for cleans. Master volume to taste. Reverb at about 0-3. Anything else and it sounds like crap. I keep the EQs all at about 6, with maybe the mids at 7 or 8 and the bass at 5.

That sounds good. My reverb tank is kinda old, so I have it at around 7 (just for flavor). Anything under 5 and it's not audible at all. But those EQ settings sound very nice.

sch, everythin' on 10 would be extremely undesirable for my sound needs.

I think my settings are as follows: Low-10, Mid-3, High-5, Tone-2, Drive-7.

Because of this thread I dimed everything except the gain and volume on the Splawn and liked what I heard! Now if only the speakers would hurry and break in.
