Who here uses .009 gauge strings on their les paul or les paul copy?

Re: Who here uses .009 gauge strings on their les paul or les paul copy?

^Relax grandpa. I wasn't talking about anyone in particular. It's just my personal opinion.

Re: Who here uses .009 gauge strings on their les paul or les paul copy?

I will say that it isn't difficult to state your opinion without disparaging others. Lookie:
Instead of saying "People who use smaller strings Are Not Men'
let's try "I just prefer bigger strings"

Hiding behind 'It is just my opinion, man' doesn't work. Be nice to fellow forum members. We all have different opinions, but for this place to work, we can't put people down for theirs.

Re: Who here uses .009 gauge strings on their les paul or les paul copy?

I am a troll cause you don't like what I think? Lol to that...

Not because you don't like what I do, but because you couch your opinion in an inflammatory language that is obviously meant to annoy people. That is the very definition of a troll.

There. Now three people have explained it; let us get on with the thread.

Let's move on from this now. Back to the OP.

Re: Who here uses .009 gauge strings on their les paul or les paul copy?

This thread is 6 pages of non-sense and serves no purpose.
Sadly i expect that crap from TGP & Rigtalk but not here.

I'm going to string my guitar with all 9 gauge strings and use a pitch shifter to tune it however I like. Same with my basses.

Why not? The brootz guys have been down tuning and stringing/playing their guitars like basses for ages . . . Let the bassists take a crack at the upper mid range. Seems only fair.

They say that the magnetic poles are in the process of switching sides. Are guitarists and bassists too?
