Who likes PAFs in an SG?

I've got a nifty set of Tonerider A4 PAFs itching to go into a guitar. I also have an Epi Vintage G-400, one of the original models with the neck binding. It's a great little guitar, currently loaded with a set of GFS Dream 90s.

The Toneriders ohm out at 7.5 neck and 8.3 bridge. Do you think that bridge might be a little thin sounding? I've never dealt with A4 pickups before so I don't know if that will help.

Thanks, all!

i dont really like any of the a4 pups ive tried in the neck but i think they kick ass in the bridge. give em a try

That's good enough for me!

I wasn't too concerned about the neck spot. Everything I've read indicates A4 will help clean up a boomy neck sound. The stock humbucker was kind of boomy and the GFS sounds great, so I was thinking the A4 PAF would be good in the neck.

i dont love most a5 buckers in the neck either with the jazz models a notiable exception.

the a4 has less bass than an a5 so it may suit you well
