Who makes a good tap tremolo?

I'm beginning to obsess over every little piece of the pedal board I am building!

I want a Tap Tremolo pedal.

I was considering a Voodoo Lab tremolo originally, but then I realized it's not does not have a Tap Tempo option.

Try and keep the price no more than $200, but I would rather stay between $100-$150.
I will consider units without the Tap Tempo option if you know of some great ones.

Also... Would you put tremolo in the FX loop or in front of the amp?

Ooooh yeah! There was a thread about that one just a few days ago. I hadn't seen any available yet. Other than a single Ebay auction.

Re: Who makes a good tap tremolo?

yep, wait for the Seymour Duncan unit! I'm probably gonna be selling my Voodoo Lab Tremolo eventually and picking up the SD unit...just not yet....got a few more important purchases to take care of

Re: Who makes a good tap tremolo?

I am thinking about getting one as well. Now if they'd only make a matching chorus/flange and delay...............

Re: Who makes a good tap tremolo?

Hi. Just a few dumb questions...

When will the Duncan Shape Shifter be widely available in the US? (I can't find it anywhere right now)

Where should the Tremolo pedal go in an effects chain with a Wah, a Boss Noise Suppresor, a few Distortion pedals, and a Delay pedal? I'm thinking it should stay out of the Noisegate, but before the Delay, right?

This pedal seems to be just what I'm looking for.

Re: Who makes a good tap tremolo?

I wish that the folks at SD would make a delay and mod pedal but I haven't heard any rumors that they will. So far I have liked all the SD pedals I have tried.
