lppier said:Yes it comes with SD stock, but when I turn my DS-1's gain up, there is a veri thin whiny sound, especially when I do bends. Only when I use the bridge then it sounds acceptable. Is this just the character of P90s or is it the pickups?
This guitar is fantastic for clean/slightly overdriven playing, btw.

lppier said:Hi, u mean you replaced the tone control capacitor with an orange drop?
Or did you put a capacitor on the volume pot? If you put a cap on the volume pot, how did you solder it?
