I used to use a Rane PE-15 parametric EQ in the loop of my 2555, but I kept turning it down until I could hardly tell that it was on. These days I'm using a BBE 482 Sonic Maximizer. I don't know if this counts as an EQ, but I love how it smoothes and tightens my sound.
