Whole Lotta Humbucker Demo Isolated Guitar Tracks

JeffB requested that there was no way to hear WLH clips in the demos without backing tracks or "studio magic" or whatnot.

Here are the isolated guitar tracks for the demo I did

Bridge


Neck


I kept in a couple of the harmony guitars towards the end and included the rhythm track lightly in the background of the solo for the bridge portion... I hope that isn't a problem.

And here's the alternate track I did for the bridge demo that is featured in the "logo opener"

I prefer a dry tone and use effects sparingly so getting a good indication of a pickup or amp can be tough in many demos.

Thank you kindly! It was really fun re-visiting the multi-track sessions of those tunes and solo-ing the guitar tracks.

Bridge Demo's clean intro is a blackface Fender Deluxe, dirty and crunch guitars are '72 Marshall Super Lead and clean outro is a blackface Vibro Champ.

The Neck Demo is all blackface Fender Deluxe

Well, I do not use any effects whatsoever and can't stand lots of reverb or delay... my stuff is usually dry as a bone just like yours!

It's a great idea and I should do this for all of my demos! Thanks JeffB :friday:

I agree!

FWIW, these isolated tracks are awesome, the crunch tones are very close to what I am looking for. These sound meaty and and not too flabby like many PAF types do under mid gain.

Sold, one neck WLH. I've got a white Korean Hamer SAT that needs a little pickup help to be solid.

I am still really floored over how great the WLH is.
I bought a used one from a guy on this forum a while back as a total gamble, had not heard any clips like these here or anything
Got it and installed it and was immediately and still am impressed.
Guess sometimes you don't need to try 25 types to find "the one"
