Whos got clips with a good amp playing through alnico blue speakers...or similar?

I really wanna know what these alnico speakers sound like becuse they're very very expensive compared to conventional speakers.

If anyone's got any clips id love to heard them.

I just recorded a tune with a set of the Eminence 122 alnico speakers, I loved the tone so much I just bought a set and put them in one of my cabs. Extremely lush, creamy speakers. I have compared them to the Celestion Blue at the same studio and the celestions are definately better at lower volume but through my cranked Carlsbro both speakers were spectacular, the 122s are a tad darker which is great with a bright head. At 90.00 a pair shipped from Avatar Speakers it is an experiement well worth taking. I have the Eminence GB12s in one cab and the 122s in the other. I can't pick which I like better.

Hey Kevlar (sorry to hi-jack the thread) but did you ever get that project finished? You posted a clip from it ages ago and we all gave it rave revues.

Thanks for asking, I am getting very close, 2 more tunes to track and a few to mix, hopefully I will be done with that in August and in early autumn I will have a product. Been a slow, but extremely fun project. I will be a bit sad when it is done.

They sound fantastic guys!

I can see myself getting some sort of cab with them in it sometime in the future, possibly a 2x12.

Either way ive gotta have some, they really sound amazing!
