weird. I look at that guitar and immediately think $1,200. but even that is too high for a used normal LP to me. something like that should be had for $900-$1K.

Maybe there was some shill bidding going on. That guitar might have brough $1500 at a shop, more realistic would be in the $1200 range. Who knows, suckers are born every minute. A couple years ago I had a guy give me $2400 cash for a run of the mill Tradtional LP. He saw it, never played it, I told him I didn't want to get rid of it, he offered $2400 cash, I let him have it.

The funny part of the story is that a month later, he pawned it and lost it. I picked up the ticket for $1000.
