Why no Antiquity II humbuckers or P90s?

So the general rule is
Antiquity = 50s = Alnico II magnets
Antiquity II = 60s = Alnico V magnets

There are I/II varieties for Strat and Tele but only Ant I/Alnico II models of PAF and P90. I vastly prefer Alnico V magnets in Gibson style pickups so this is a bummer. I dream of something like a sweeter 59 that still has the tight response. Has the company ever formally addressed this?

Alternatively, buy the regular Antiquity HB or P90 and swap the stock magnet(s) to your preferred formulation.

+1. Why limit yourself to stock magnets in P-90's, there's very little variety used by PU makers. I started swapping magnets in my P-90's years ago, and got a lot of other members to try it. It's as easy or easier than swapping a magnet in a HB (no cover soldered on). Only takes a few minutes and a few dollars worth of magnets. I mix and match different magnets to dial in the EQ's I want, different magnet pairs for neck and bridge. One of my favorite P-90 magnets sets is am A8/A4 in the bridge and an A5/A4 in the neck. Those have more mids and less treble than A5's (and no bassy low end!), and more definition and output than A2's.

You have a sonic palette to work with.
