anyone asked himself why theres many kind of duncans that dont come stock on guitars, for example i never saw a guitars comes with CUSTOM or DD .....,jackson and esp making guitars for rock and metal and never use them, maybe jackson the only one who use variations of duncan and still not use a DIMEBUCKER (for example).

Re: why???

Dude... when they came stock, could you swap them out afterwards and think you're better than the others? No. See...

Seriously...maybe SD doesn't wan't those pickups to be sold OEM? Dunno... maybe Evan has some answers...

Re: why???

I think it's just a matter of popularity. There's more players who prefer 59s, Seth Lovers, JBs, etc. than Dimebuckers and Invaders, etc. Hamer is pretty open minded though and willing to take a chance: my Hamer Monoco came stock with a Custom as the neck pickup and a Custom Custom as the bridge pickup. Re: why???

Tell you more? OK: I didn't like the Custom as a neck pickup. :laugh2: To loud and a little woofy. Great as a bridge pickup but to strong for a neck pickup, IMO. So I replaced it with a Seth Lover and love it! The Custom Custom sounded great right from the get go. Sweet and thick...like maple syrup! :)

man, if i had a quid for every girl i've met that fit that description...

i think some of the high-end hamers come with '59 sets or phat cats, apart from that i reckon there's just too many different tastes in music to target - whats the point of a blank canvas someone's already personalised ;)

Re: why???

My Schecter came stock with a DD/59 set. I far prefer the Custom/Jazz.

Washburn have a few models with stock CC/59 sets.

Re: why???

The best match, IMO, for a PGb would be a PGn...or maybe an A2Pro n. Lew
