i read that in 2000s gibson is not using Honduran Mahogany in the main product
and wiki said that 70s les paul deluxe (standard in the era) is made by Honduran Mahogany
so, what about the 90s?and when gibson not using Honduran Mahogany making the standards?

The Swietenia macrophylla was sourced in British Honduras (today called Belize)
and was sold by the trade name Honduran Mahogany. This has led many to believe
that the wood was grown in Honduras. Much of it was, but it was also being cut
as far north as Mexico, and was brought to British Honduras for export. Even in
the original Vintage Les Paul guitars, you can be sure of the species, but not
where it was grown.

The REAL issue is "Does whatever Mahogany your LP is made out of sound good?"

I don't know the specific answer to your question, but I can tell you that when I first started working for Stoney End Harps in 1997, we were using "Honduran" Mahogany that we'd get from a local mill for bracing material. It wasn't long after that we stopped using it, and went with our standard domestic hardwoods. My boss still has a board of Honduran Mohogany in the shop that is at least 30 inches wide or more and 8ft long. Haven't figured out how to get my hands on it yet...

Last time I checked with a larger lumber company here in MN, I think the sales guy said they haven't had Swietenia Macrophylla for at least 10 years or so, and that was probably 3 years ago.

^^ Exactly

And there are plantations on Fiji for the 'Honduran Mahogany' that is used now.
