Will a Marshall DSL15H cop a Henderson Tone?

I have a trade offer for a PRS SE Custom24 Spalted (I cannot get with the neck at all). I'm wondering if I can get a usable Scott Henderson tone from this amp (for small rooms naturally). I've watched the videos, but since I am looking for a fairly specific sound...someone who actually tried it in this context would be super helpful.

I suppose I'll be the pioneer and report my observations.

I played on it a few times, It seemed like it was kinda....just ok. I wouldn't say its a bad amp as much as I would say it seems to need pedals to make it shine. maybe some different tubes would make it sound better. I think it uses 6v6? I wanted one for a practice amp but I couldn't get the sound I wanted. I thought about it and wondered maybe it was just the guitar so I went into G.C. and tried several guitars into it and I thought.....it will always be just "ok" and I will spend more in pedals to try to make it sound good then I will if I just go to a different amp. you may like it, it may fit your style better-I don't know-but I didn't like it for crunchy power chords and scales to practice on. I like Marshall DSL amps too. There a great bang for the buck amp platform. I just didn't click with that amp for what I wanted to use it for. I play Fender Strats with JB's. I think its more of a Tom Petty "refugee" type sound then a crunchy rock tone.
