Will a warmoth conversion neck fit on my strat?

i have a 90's squier strat and the neck is in pretty bad shape and i was wondering if the warmoth 24 3/4 conversion neck will fit on it. Besides the neck pocket shape what bothers me is that the neck it has now is 21 frets so if i install a 22 fret neck on it will it effect the tuning on the guitar?

It will fit, I have one on my tele. But call warmoth to see if the pickguard needs to be modified (I have to remove my neck to get the pickguard off, which ive done several times now when swapping pickups!)

Should fit ok. 21 or 22 frets will not affect tuning at all. What's important is the distance from each fret, and the nut, to the bridge.

What are you looking for with the 24-3/4" scale neck? You'll get less string tension, less "snap", and more of a Gibson feel/tone. That's just MHO, YMMV, etc.

Might be worth cutting out a template of the neck pocket and mailing it to Warmoth ahead of time. It's not the Warmoth neck I'd worry about, it's the consistency (or lack thereof) in the Squier neck pocket.
