Will it match ?

Hi, here is the situation: I've got Ibanez S540 HSH with SD Custom Hybrid in bridge and SD Alnico 2 pro in neck. I'm trying to find a good single coil pickup that would match both humbuckers. Here is the question: do you think Ibanez S1 would match them both when split and in series ?

I'm not sure on that, but someone with more single coil knowledge should be along soon.

Match.....hmmmm.

That kind of involves us guessing whether you will like the tone does it not???

I'm sure if there are electrical phase issues the leads can be swapped on some of the pickups such that all positions will work and sound like they should do. Thats really the best we can do.
