Will Kinmans and Fralins be out of phase with each other?

I am loading my Strat with a Fralin PAF and two Kinman Woodstocks. I ordered the PAF w/ 4 conductor so that I will be able to reverse the phase if need be. My question is, does anyone know whether they are or not? I would love to get it right the first time and not have to re-solder. Thanks

I don't know the answer to your question, but please let us know how the setup sounds. thanks.

You got a meter? If so hook the red lead to the hot, and the black to ground, set the meter for AC mV (with a digital {auto-polarity} it's a bit trickier, and sometimes the DC mV setting will help), lay a screw driver on the poles of one magnet, then quickly pull it away, you'll see the needle jump up scale (or try to jump off the scale below zero/or you'll see the numbers flutter), reverse the conductors that go to the read and black probes if the needle tries to shoot down scale or doesn't jump (or if on a DMM with auto-polarity watch for the negative sign). You want an up scale jump, when you get that the red probe will be hooked to the *hot*, do this for all pups, and you'll know what leads are the hots for each pup.
