Will this mix sound good?

What do you guys think of a mix--Seth neck, Antiquity bridge and vice-versa?(Gibson doubleneck--you guys sick of this guitar yet?)

Why would I want to do this you ask? I got a set of Antiquities that have an all creme bridge and a zebra neck. I may be able to get a set of Seths that have an all creme neck and a zebra bridge. I'd put the all creme on one side and two zebras on the other. The deciding factor would be which bridge would sound hotter for the six. From the sounds of it, either of these pickups would give the hot, hard rocking and rippin blues tones of Jimmy Page, early Rush & Aerosmith, Kiss etc... :smoker: :saeek: :cool3:

I bet it would sound great, no reason why that combination wouldn't work.

Yep...should sound killer. Why a mix though? Why not two Seths or two Antiquities?

Hi Lew--

If I get the specific pickups I mentioned, I want to keep all creme on one guitar, and the both Zebras on the other. I think it would look silly on a doubleneck to have a zebra in the neck of one and the bridge of the other. I assume the Seth bridge would be a little hotter than the Antiquity so I'll put the zebras in the six and the Ants in the twelve. Would one really be hotter than the other though? Probably not.

Thanks for the opinions. I'll check back after I've attempted the soldering. If I destroy the innards--which is a distinct possibility with the wiring in this thing, I'll report back when I get it back from the shop!!
